Itinerary

Day 1 – Thimphu: Arrival and sightseeing

Upon your arrival in Bhutan, an agent’s representative will receive you at the Paro International Airport. Complete the immigration & customs formalities after which you will be transferred to your hotel in Thimphu. Register yourself at the reception and relax in your luxurious room to wash off the weariness.

Your tour itinerary for the day covers major attractions such as Buddha Point and the Bhutan Textile Museum.

Buddha Point: The Buddha Dordenma statue in Thimphu is among the most popular tourist attractions in Bhutan. Perched high in the Himalayas, the 51-m tall statue of Buddha is made of bronze and gold. This statue which was made in China and then cut into pieces and shipped to Bhutan emits peace and happiness in the entire country.

Bhutan Textile Museum: The National Textile Museum was established in 2001 and is operated by the National Commission for Cultural Affairs. The museum was set up to promote Bhutan’s achievements in the field of textiles and to sustain traditional weavers and traditional textile patterns.

Day 2 – Paro: Local sightseeing and transfer
